New webinar series
What is Stability Policing and How Do We Transition to Resilience?
Conflict, Consequences, and Cooperation series by capacity building international
Capacity Building International (CBI) is a new webinar learning experience in conjunction with the NATO Stability Policing Center of Excellence (COE) Conference scheduled for October 2019. The conference will focus on the "spoilers" in stability policing operations, and provide recommendations for dealing with them to NATO, UN, and EU organizations. In addition to access to the conference, the academic experience will include a series of CBI facilitated webinars that will:
Introduce students to the subject and origins of Stability Policing.
Define the roles of international organizations such as NATO, the EU, OSCE, and the UN.
Expand on NATO's Stability Policing efforts.
Examine real-world examples of current NATO Stability Policing missions.
Facilitate student learning with Q&A sessions throughout the series.
We are planning a series of four (4) webinars that will introduce Stability Policing as a whole. Guests in this webinar will include experts from Coventry University (TBC), Italian Carabinieri, and US Department of Justice. The series will begin in September, leading up to the conference on October 8th, where a portion of the conference will be available online by the COE. Depending on demand, we will host a Q&A session as a final webinar if needed.
